This course provides the training required to competently and safely utilize
breathing gases containing helium ford dives that require staged decompression
to a maximum depth of 200fsw while utilizing nitrox mixtures and oxygen during
decompression. The goal of this course is to instruct divers in the
benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing custom Trimix mixes as a
breathing gas.

| The Entry-Level Trimix Course requires two days and a minimum of three dives
for completion. Curriculum consists of class sessions, equipment
configuration, open water drills, dive planning using appropriate gas mixtures
and volumes for the dives planned and proper dive execution.
Prerequisites: A minimum of 18 years of age, certification as TDI Advanced Nitrox and TDI Decompression Procedures (or equivalent) and a minimum of 100 logged dives. Prices: Private $700; 2or 3 students $400 per student The above course fees do not include certification card, admission fees (where applicable), books or gases. Rental equipment is available if necessary. However, it is recommended that you own all your own gear, like regulators, backplate, harness, wings (or tech BCD), but tanks can be rented. Other required gear is a reel with at least 200 feet of line, possibly a 50+ lb. lift bag, and a 7 foot hose on one of your regulators. Certification Available TDI |
